Machine is a standard Fujitsu Siemens Scenic D with 256Mb of ram and 10gb
100UDMA hard drive with DVD rom, Intel 845G (ICH4) chipset with onboard sound
(based on i810 chipset), video, and lan (Ethercard 10/100). 2Gh processor
13/1/02 0630 first noticed the black cursor on a blue background, not easy to
see where you are in any boxes.
13/1/02 0645 Individual package selection: Not buttons to continue after
selecting what you want, no scroll bar if it goes off the bottom, does this on
another pc as well.
13/1/02 0730 Format partitions: Unselecting all the buttons that select which
one you wish to format causes everything to be formatted, not very good for
upgrades.
All text box entries: default text box does not have the cursor placed in it
until you click on it.
I am able to replicate this on every installation. FOr now I have done a
default installation to look at the packages.
ps. Is there not a module or kernel to support the ICH4 chipset for Intels 845
hard drives?
