I tried to install Linux Mandrake 9.1 Beta 1 on my notebook, but the system
hangs when it reaches "Enabling PCMCIA extension cards...". The message that pop
up is:
Bank 3: b4000000000083b at 00000001fc0003b0
Kernal Panic: Unable to continue
The notebook I am trying to install is Compaq Presario 920us with configuration
listed as below:
Processor: Atlon XP 2000+
Memory: 512MB DDR-SDRAM
Hard Drive: 40GB
Graphic Card: ATI Mobility Radeon
PCMCIA Adapters: Texas Instruments PCI-1410 CardBus Controller (I got this from
Windows XP device manager)
