Hi there,

This is the same bug as http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=53265

When the nfs-utils package is installed, it incorrectly assigns the priviledges
on /var/lib/nfs/statd . On my fresh install of Mandrake 9.0, the statd dir had
uid 77 gid 77, but the rpcuser is uid 73 and gid 73. As the rpcuser cannot write
in /var/lib/nfs/statd, rpc.statd immediately exists.

If the nfs-utils package is added after installation the bug does not appear to
occur. This bug is not fixed by using Mandrake Update, nor is it fixed by
removing and reinstalling nfs-utils.
