Sorry for the delay in answering.
I had already tried to reproduce your problem, to no avail.
Since then, rpmdrake has much changed (it now uses gtk2, it has a few additional
features, and a few bugs fixed), and I still can't reproduce: I do one search,
select one package, do another search, select a package from this second search,
click on Install -> all is normal.
Maybe you can retry (latest package is rpmdrake-2.1-3mdk, with which I've just
tested) and see if you still have the error. If positive, maybe if you give me
as many details as possible I'll manage to reproduce and then fix.
