I didn't know that this printer is also sold under "Epson 600Q". In which
country did you buy this printer?
To list the printer in Foomatic/on linuxprinting.org additional information is
needed. To obtain it, do the following:
If the printer is parallel, please post the contents of
/proc/sys/dev/parport/parport0/autoprobe
if it is USB, download
http://www.linuxprinting.org/download/printing/getusbprinterid.pl
do "chmod a+rx getusbprinterid.pl" and as root to
./getusbprinterid.pl /dev/usb/lp0
(or whatever device the printer is connected to). Post the output here.
