I am using a Shuttle SS51g, LiteOn 40x12x48 CDRW, maxtor 80gb 7200rpm ATA133
HD, 1 512mb stick of pc2700 DDR ram, a P4 2.4ghz 533mhz fsb system with a
floppy drive. I downloaded, md5sum'ed and then burned the beta 2 isos with
xcdroaster. I get as far in the install as package selection, i press next
after selecting any packages, and the installation bar comes up with the
advert for the website, but never gets anywhere, eventually (after about 30
minutes) a message box appears telling you that whatever package it was trying
to install, well, it couldn't. And you have the choice to continue or quit.
If you continue, it tries for 30 min, then does it again. Not sure what to do
here! I have apic disabled in the bios which is the only way to get the
onboard USB and LAN to work. Any suggestions?
