quite agree, i am using 0.60-pre4 for win32 and is cleary better end more stable than 0.59 under linux.2.0 will very likely be out by the time 9.1 is out, and I think we should include it - I think it would be a good idea to include as many GTK+2-based apps (as opposed to GTK+1-based) in 9.1 as possible. xchat 1.9.8 is, for instance, I'd argue rather more developed than Galeon 1.3.1, which is in Cooker main. I'd also like to see a CVS snapshot of gaim 0.60 put into Cooker - why they haven't made a release yet, I can't fathom, because 0.60 is light years ahead of 0.59 and seems perfectly functional. gaim recommend the use of CVS versions anyway, so I don't think using a snapshot should present a problem.
yep, i would love to see a gimp 1.3 too. there is some new interesting features. With galeon 1.3.x or gtk+2 moz, pan, xchat and gaim, and maybe gimp 1.3, GNOME2 users can have an almost entirely GTK+2-based desktop - only Evolution is missing now, and that's being worked on :). So it'd be nice to have GTK+2 versions of xchat and gaim in 9.1.
