------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-01-21 12:40 ------- Can you try in commandline with "urpmi cvs" as root? ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-01-24 15:56 ------- Now with Beta2... "urpmi cvs" failed with the same problem. It requests the first CD (which is in) and doesn't work. Here's what I think it is... I have 1 CD device in the machine. It is an IDE Blaster CD-RW. When it asks for the CD it is asking for "/dev/scd0". I think the IDE CD-RW is being used through scsi emulation and something about that relationship is confusing urpmi when looking for the device. Hope this helps. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] description: 9.1 Beta1 - >From Mandrake Control Center, Software Management | Install Software Using "rpmdrake 9.0" I was trying to install the 'cvs' package. I did a search on 'cvs' and selected the "cvs-1.11.4-1mdk" package and selected "install" and get the following error message: "There was a problem during the installation: medium "Installation CD 1 (x86) (cdrom1)" is not selected" I thought it might be that the CD wasn't inserted at the time but that doesn't appear to be the problem. I checked the "Software Sources Manager" and "Installation CD 1..." is enabled. I was unable to install the 'cvs' package.
