I can confirm this is reproducable in my cooker machine too.
Reinstalling gnect.schemas with gconftool doesn't help, so
it's not packaging bug.
Attached verbose log from gconfd, everything seems normal
except the last 2 log entries. Log will be attached.
Probably bugzilla.gnome.org is a better place to report this
bug.
