This is a bug report for Mandrake 9.1 Beta2.
The kernel used on the boot images and bootable ISO,
kernel-2.4.21.0.pre3.1mdk-1, does not detect the HighPoint 374 IDE disk
controller (used in JBOD mode) nor the drives attached to it.
When I build a custom install kernel using blank.img with the
kernel-2.4.21.0.pre3.1mdk-1 source RPM and statically compile in HPT366/368/370
support (CONFIG_BLK_DEV_HPT366), the controller as well as the drives are
detected fine.
