Thanks Lenny.

Just a followup to this, if anybody is still having
the default_pref problem after 2mdk, it's because your
preferences file is from an older version of the
package. You should have an
/etc/squirrelmail/config.php.rpmnew file which you can
merge into your config, or just make sure to put a
slash at the end of the data_dir variable definition
(which 2mdk does).

Also a note to Tzafrir, your patch still applies to
SquirrelMail 1.4.0-rc2a, so if you could file a bug
against that in their bug tracker at sourceforge, and
submit your patch I'd appreciate it. I agree with the
patch, but it's really up to the SquirrelMail
developers.

Finally, I have SquirrelMail 1.4.0rc2a packaged and
available at
http://luigiwalser.homeip.net:8080/~david/ I'll
submit a package to /incoming when 1.4.0 is final.
