XFdrake gives same error during test
Overview Description: More detailed expansion of summary.
Installed mandrakev9.1 beta2 on a dell c800 laptop with a docking station.
during install or after during XFdrake setup when I run the test configuration
I get the error
An error occurred:
(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration.
Steps to Reproduce: Minimized, easy-to-follow steps that will trigger the bug.
Include any special setup steps.
1) Run XFdrake either at root or during setup.
2) XFdrake
Graphics Card: ATI RAGE 128 mobility
Monitor: Dell 1280X Laptop display
Resolution: 1024X768 16bpp
A popup message would appear saying
An error occurred:
(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration.
Expected Results: I don't know what it was supposed to do in v9.1b2 but in
version 9.0 or previous when it was undocked it would give a test screen
pattern.
(the only time it would work on external monitor was by pressing fn - F8
(wouldn't work on external keyboard))
If you have the fix for v9.1 or v9.0 to work even when docked with external
keyboard and monitor let me know please.
