Hi

I am using aviplay to open a .ASF file which points to a mms:// location.

The first time I launch aviplay I can click on open, change the filetype,
select the .asf file and it launches the station properly.

Now if I quit and relaunch aviplay I immediately get an error box stating:

'The protocol 'mms' is not supported

clicking ok brings up the same error message another 3 times and then aviplay
launches and immediately brings up the Open video file(s) dialog box. When I
change the file type to .ASF... I immediately get another one of those same
errors.
I click ok, then select the .asf file and the station starts to play properly.

If I delete the folder .avm from my home dir then aviplay starts properly. But
after that it has re-created the .avm folder and the default file has a
reference to the mms url last opened.

This is on current full cooker installation. I downloaded and compiled aviplay
from source on a 9.0 box and it doesn't behave that way. I never get that
error message.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions/help/comments.

Serge
