If there's any threat involved, then it's probably that supermount is threatening not to work. ;) Seriously, I know that this has got to be tricky coding, or it would have already been fixed a while back. If it was easy, everybody would be fixing it, right. I had high hopes with SM some time back, but I did find out the hard way that although I could insert and remove regular CD's with no problem, the copy protection built into many games screwed up installs under Winex, or rather I should say that somehow the SM interactions between Winex and copy protection were just not working. When we went back to manual mounting/unmounting, we were again able to get successful installs. This confused me, since I was certain that SM was using the same calls as mount, but in kernelspace.
