I had the same problem, but after logging out, and back in again everything 
was ok. I think this is a problem with KDE using kdeinit to start processes; 
as long as kdeinit is loaded you will keep getting the old .so's, so after a 
successful rpm -Fvh *rpm; you should logout, and login again.
