I installed beta3 and I didnt notice any difference regarding this problem.

I installed Mandrake 9.1 beta2 in expert mode. The configuration of the
graphical interface and the network was skipped. I had to start them manually
by clicking on the related buttons in the installation summary window.
The expected behaviour is that both processes are started automatically.
