In kernel version 2.4.19-9mdk, if I try playing sound through esound or xine-
alsa using the snd-via686 module, all I hear is scratching noises. Tried a tip
to include Option "PciRetry" "True" in XF86Config-4, but it didn't work.
Tried the 2.4.18-21mdkcustom kernel, and the snd-via686 driver worked fine in
this. Sound through non-esound route (OSS/ALSA) works fine too.
