I chose to configure printing. At this point, CD3 was in the CD-ROM drive that was the last CD it had asked for, this is a Beta3 install bug. It thought for about a minute, then told me the foomatic packages could not be found. So, I let it finish up. After finding the foomatic packages (which were on CD1), I was able to only get the software manager to install by sticking the CD1 in FIRST, then installing-- CD request when wrong or no CD in drive is broken also in software manager\installer in KDE. So, 2 errors, not tightly related but definitely related to user function of getting printer working. After the foomatic packages were loaded right, printing is very good. John Danielson.
