[root@pr2 salch]# acpi
     Battery 1: unknown, 0%
     Battery 2: unknown, 0%
[root@pr2 salch]#


it reports the same thing i see in the files under /proc/acpi

it can tell there batteries are there..  and that it is pluged in or not..  
but all the informational data is wrong or N/A
