The quota code is still broken in all kernels in cooker (and 8.1, 8.2, 9.0) except
THIS kernel:
kernel-2.4.20.2mdk-1-1mdk
Doing a "quota_v2", and using quota utils > 3.04 (I use 3.08) I've got the first
running server supporting quota since a long time (2.4.1, yes this version runs
on our fs server serving ~50 PCs)
It seems to me, that 2.4.20 contains patches from 2.5 kernel (see the
CONFIG_QFMT_V2 option in /boot/config).
All other kernels don't have this, and therefore dont work with quotas.
PLEASE include the quota patches in the actual kernel and quota-3.08, shipped
with 9.1
