I have bt878 TV card. By default, an icon for xawtv is placed on the desktop. If
xawtv is
launched from this icon, enabling fullscreen mode (by pressing the "f" key) will make
xawtv use
the whole screen, but the image is still a small box centered on the screen. However,
if I start
xawtv from the menu (multimedia->video->xawtv) and enter full screen mode, the
picture uses
the whole screen as expected.
The desktop icon executes: "/usr/bin/XawTV -c /dev/v4l/video0"
The menu item executes: "XawTV"
