description:
Saw on my PPC box so it has the 9.0 installer. So this may be fixed on
9.1/i586. But I thought I'd report it.
After partitions are formated, the installer mounts them. If you have say a
/home you are saving and it happens to need to be fsck'ed (policy or bad
shutdown) the installer will do the fsck. However, during the fsck the
installer simply shows a blank dialog box. And appears to be hung. Flipping to
vt/3 you see that it is running a fsck. Allowing the fsck to finish the install
continues normally.
Most end users would assume the installer had hung.
