I use mod_limitipconn. Really handy module. Put a stop to people making way too many connections to my mirror and it actually works as expected unlike other modules. I'm not using the Proxy patches because I'm simply too lazy to bother to patch around it and it hasn't been a problem. But it'd be nice if the patches are in there.
