Summary: Related to harddrake and internationalisation
           Version: 1.769
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: P2
        AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I do have a partition named as /Donnes (ext3fs).
During install process, the partition was seen and seemed mounted correctly, but
after booting step, i had the error message : /Donnes, no such partition.

in my fstab, i had the mount point /Donnes (correct), but when i look at the /
directory, the only mount point was /Donn<Awith tilde><copyright symbol>es
The '' has been replaced by <Awith tilde><copyright symbol>.
I guess it is a keytable problem, but quite annoying since all the installation
was made in French. Of cource, after creating /Donnes, the partition was
mounted corectly.

If the naming is not ANSI or whatever compliant, don't allow this name during
the booting process, or the name should be correct.

Stef
