I just installed 27mdk and am not seeing this. Keep in mind, however, 
that I use SRPM's rebuilt for 9.0. On this one, I had to modify my 
spec file to add a --with-java configure option to get it to build, 
but it seems unlikely that would have any effect on the icon display.
