James ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: beta3, first cd, boot laptop off it and it boots up, but when going to load the installation ( stage 2 ) it cannot access anything on the cd. the drive is a toshiba xm-1702bc this piece of hardware is older, ( or was badly used by original owner of laptop ) and does throw problems occasionally, but not this bad. literally cannot get any further into install ( ten attempts all fail at same place. ) same cd works fine on other systems so it isn't a bad iso or burn. wiped the hard drive to do full fresh install, no file system to place a bug report file, and laptop has no floppy, so no way to send a bug file attachment.
