Mandrake ver 9.0 works fine for Chinese during installation and operation.
Ver 9.1 beta 2 and beta 3 both displaying Chinese as squares with dots inside
after choosing Chinese as the language during installation (traditional and
simplified - tried all 4 options showed same result)
