several probs with latest drakx, sorry can't provide log for the fatal probs (will save it next try)
boot with network.img but "lost interrupt" on ne2k-pci until booted with acpi=off, acpi and ne2k-pci apparently shared same interrupt next fatal problem at partitioning step, the box has a PM bootloader partition which irritates drakx into bailing out. First a warning about a defective partition table "11 != 12" (? 13 minus swap minus "defective" bootloader partition) and then it fails at step mounting (fails to mount bootloader partition as Fat16). Possible solution: list detected partitions in mountpoint selection step to allow de-selection. As it is there was no way to get around the prob other then disabling ide0 in bios. Install then proceeded on hdd but afterwards lilo boot failed as lilo.conf pointed to hdd3 and disk 0x80, which after reenabling ide0 is of course 0x81. Adding users has the "accept" button offscreen to the right. On another machine with small 800x600 LCD in summary the buttons are offscreen at the bottom. - Mark
