AFAIK the 9999... is a lilo error, not grub. click on "Bootloader" in the summary, click on "Advanced", click on the "Create a bootdisk" checkbox, and see ! can you attach /root/drakx/report.bug.gz, it may give me some clues about what's weird on your box causing this. However, when I reboot my system and Lilo is attempting to load, all I see on the screen is the letter "L" and a pattern like this: L99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99... etc It repeats the 9's for like 5 or 6 lines. Any clues? P.S. - virus protection on board is turned off.
