-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello,
When compiling CrystalSpace engine from CVS, I have stumbled upon this problem: /demosky2 Warning: Failed to load `vfs'; reason(s): DLERROR (vfs): ./vfs.so: undefined symbol: __init_array_end Warning: Failed to load `vfs'; reason(s): DLERROR (vfs): ./vfs.so: undefined symbol: __init_array_end WARNING: could not load plugin 'crystalspace.kernel.vfs' Couldn't load vfs plugin! Couldn't initialize app! Error initializing system! Cleaning up... The errors are not that important, but the symbols it complains about were added into the glibc recently and are supposed to be resolved by linker. That does not happen, unfortunately, at least if you are compiling shared libraries. There is a corresponding symbol init_array_start, which is resolved. My machine is running cooker, the versions of the packages are : binutils-2.13.90.0.18-3mdk glibc-2.3.1-10mdk Regards, Jan -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+USAKn11XseNj94gRArnXAKCRZU0ppcgMPUd9Q4SgXhiYo4SkeQCgmowY nHOGic0lXJoMf3OAbHUTbtg= =sWVr -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
