However, if it were changed to "The first sector of >>the root<< partition", it would be much better. If it said " 1) MBR [/dev/hdc1] 2) The first sector of the root partition. [/dev/hdc12]" I would feel much more confident when I need to choose option 2). Adding the device is optional, but I believe that changing "boot" --> "the root" is necessary.
