xpdf >= 2.0 seems working fine with motif and less fine with lesstif.
foolabs version is statically linked with openmotif which we don't
provide for license reasons.
version 2.01 version compiled with lesstif 0.93.36 shouln't be affected.

statically linked version available from
ftp://ftp.foolabs.com/pub/xpdf/xpdf-2.01-linux.tar.gz
does not have this problem.
kde viewer works also fine.
