This is due to the use of a pipe, if you exit before the pipe is finished, you
have that error.
If you go to the end of the man page, then quit, the error doesn't show.

That is, it shows with big man pages when you don't read them till the end.

I don't know what to do to fix that
(removing the " | iconv " will lose functionality (it is needed for proper
display of non-english man pages when in utf-8)

After reading some man pages, the man programme exits with an error message. Note that 
this does not effect the display of the man page itself, the man page is displayed 
fine. The error message occurs when you press "q" to stop reading.

Not all man pages report this error, and I cant find anything in common between the 
man pages that dont report the error and the ones that do.
