I'm running the latest Cooker. Yesterday Evolution suddenly crashed with the error that the component that handles the mail aspect had quit unexpectedly. When I restart Evolution, it sits there hung up trying to open folder files. When I start it from console, I get the following information:

[jason@admin1 jason]$ evolution

evolution-shell-WARNING **: Error setting owner on component OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Mail_ShellComponent -- CORBA error

evolution-shell-WARNING **: Error changing interactive status of component OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Mail_ShellComponent to TRUE -- IDL:omg.org/CORBA/COMM_FAILURE:1.0

When I close it, I get this additional information in the console:

evolution-shell-WARNING **: Error changing interactive status of component OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Mail_ShellComponent to FALSE -- IDL:omg.org/CORBA/COMM_FAILURE:1.0

Waiting for component to die -- OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Calendar_ShellComponent (1)
[jason@admin1 jason]$

Anyone have any thoughts or ideas? Looks to me like a possible problem with oafd.

Thanks,
