That work was done shortly after 9.0, as soon as the issue was raised. No other work on terminal server has been done. In fact I'm currently trying to finish getting the config GUI ported the rest of the way to gtk2 so it doesn't crash when you try to use it. A little late now to be asking about new features isn't it?
