It installs several packages, the last of which I believe is the DHCP client, and then gives this error. Again, this is installing under VMware on Windows 2000. This was after the questions about autologin, I believe; it installed several packages and then the screen appeared (see attachment). It appears to be stuck in a loop, as I click on "Ok" and the screen blanks, then this error appears again.
