In my case, I'm using codeweavers plugins and CXOffice in addition to transgaming winex (All current versions). I've only gotten CXOffice to run and that's if I manually execute the command via a terminal window. Desktop icons don't work at all.
A common error shared by WineX and CX plugins is: wine: lstat /home/john/.transgaming/wineserver-johnhost/socket : No such file or directory OR wine: lstat /home/john/.crossover/wineserver-johnhost/socket : No such file or directory However in the case of CXOffice, it uses /tmp to create the necessary socket.
