In the skin of a regular user, I just did a fresh install of Mandrake
9.1 RC1, I see "xine" in the application menues, it launches and
disapears immediatly.
In 8.2 or 9.0, when you install xine, it runs and then you can open a
video file or a dvd to see if it works. But in RC1, you cannot reach
this point.
And if xine is not included in the first system installation, it's
impossible to install it manually, neither with urpmi nor with rpmdrake.
