I had to test my digital camera under rc1 and it is runing fine. Is a Finepix S602 Fuji with smartmedia and/or microdrive. Until now just tested smarmedia as storage.
How I did? 1) First of all I sow that all the needed modules were loaded: usb, usb-core, usb-storage and ide-scsi. 2) I created a dir to mount on the camera: mkdir -m 777 /mnt/camera 3) edit fstab adding: /dev/sda1 /mnt/camera auto user,noauto,nosuid 0 0 and an additional empty line 4) Activate: mount -a 5) Create under kde a new icon with a harddrive mount point (/mnt/camera) 6) Plugin the camera via usb, put it in the mode for usb-pc conection and open the previously mentioned icon.
