------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-02-22 04:21 -------
I have just installed 9.1 rc1. I have chosen Traditional Chinese while
installation and the installer
shown Chinese characters properly.

However, after installing, xcin is not able to be launched. I try
launching it at
console and it warns me there is configuration problem in xcinrc zh_hk
session (I
have chosen Hong Kong as default country). Moreover, it seemed that
Chinese fonts
are not added to both KDE and GNOME properly. First, I cannot find
Chinese font
at all KDE configuration tools. Second, GNOME applications show other
symbols instead
of Chinese characters.

Look forwarding to better Chinese environment at 9.1 release. Thank you
so much.

description:
I could not choose Traditional Chinese as default language because of no Chinese
character shown. Instead, I chose Chinese as an additional language.

After installation, Chinese fonts were not shown in Mandrake font tools and
Mozilla. I thought the path of big5 fonts (/usr/share/font/ttf/big5/) were not
added properly.

Besides, xcin (the Chinese character input tools) could not launched.
