------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-02-22 05:17 ------- This is still an issue with the latest XFree86 package. In fact, suspending has gotten worse to the point where sometimes it won't even resume. I have had to Ctrl-Alt-Del to reboot the system (which tells me that X isn't running properly if that key combination actually works). Fortunately, it will reboot cleanly although the screen stays corrupted until the machine reboots. My guess is this new behavior is more a result of the new suspend-scripts behavior though because it appears to be trying to switch to a console before suspending, then switching back to X upon resume. This is probably where X is failing. However, the original problem is still an issue. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: When I close the lid on my IBM Thinkpad T20, then open it later the screen is corrupted and I must switch to a console then back to X to fix the screen. It looks like Red Hat has some issues open on this 1.1.26 driver too. They seem to suggest using the 1.1.27 test release and most people are reporting success. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=80278 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=80423 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=82394
