------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-02-22 19:00 ------- Oops - once again, I forgot one fact that might help: I am using the UK keyboard. Thats the keyboard layout for Great Britain. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: Configuration: Mandrake 9.1 RC1 Desktop Gnome 2.2 Description: The snapshot program lives in the Actions menu, and is called 'Snapshot'. Run this program. It has a help button. Click it. A window is displayed describing "1.4.2. To Take a Snapshot". There is a section: . Use shortcut keys To take a screenshot, use the following shortcut keys: . Print Screen - Takes a screenshot of the entire screen, and displays the Screenshot dialog. Use the Screenshot dialog to save the screenshot. . Alt+Print Screen Takes a screenshot of the window that has focus, and displays the Screenshot dialog. Use the Screenshot dialog to save the screenshot. --- >From the above description it is expected that pressing 'Print Screen' on the Gnome Desktop will take a snapshot of the desktop and produce the 'gnome-panel-snapshot' program to save this file. The problem is: Pressing Print Screen does not take a snapshot, and does not open the gnome-panel-snapshot application. I have checked the Gnome Configuration Screen - Keyboard Shortcuts, and in the 'Desktop' section there is an entry 'Take a Screen Shot' which correctly lists 'Print Screen' as the shortcut.
