The 3Com NIC now works fine with the acpi=off.

When I use the 3com or the Nvidia NIC embedded on the motherboard the network
connection crashed after a while. It does when I generate traffic.
The problem is the same with the 2.4.21.0pre4.1mdk
When I compile my own kernel, using a 2.4.20 patched with the 2.4.21pre4
everything works fine.
The options noapic or acpi=off doesn't resolve the problem on 2.4.21pre4.5mdk
If found no error message in the logs.
I have no special hardware, for information athlon XP2000+ and 2 HDs.
