------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-02-24 00:56 -------
Well, the hub built into my keyboard always worked.
I can get the keyboard detected if I start mashing keys during the serial port
probe. This only a work around to my point of view.

description:
IBM Internet keyboard sk-8805 is not detected by 9.1 b3 at install time. Tried
various options- noapic, dos support on and off in bios, pnp os on and off, and
acpi aware os on and off. After the serial probe, the keyboard would stop
responding if dos support was on, and never responded if dos support was off.
This was also a problem with Mandrake 9.0.
I also tried with the mouse (logitech optical) connected to various usb ports
and ps2. The motherboard is a ECS K7S5A with SIS 735 chipset. The USB mouse is
detected fine, even when conected through the hub on the keyboard. In Mandrake
9.0, the USB Printer was detected fine as well.
