The messages come from %post scripts of apps based on GConf2, e.g. monkey-media:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] SRPMS]$ rpm -qp --scripts
/contrib/RPMS/monkey-media-0.6.1-6mdk.i586.rpm
postinstall scriptlet (through /bin/sh):
export GCONF_CONFIG_SOURCE=`gconftool-2 --get-default-source`
gconftool-2 --makefile-install-rule /etc/gconf/schemas/monkey-media.schemas >
/dev/null
Maybe we should fix that, but I guess it's not that important at the moment.
