Next time I express myself better... Next time I.. ;-)
Ok, with themes I mean the themes of the toolbar (Werkzeugleiste)
You can download them from galeon.sf.net and put them in a themes
directory either system wide or in your home (~/.galeon). GTK2 themes
of course work (because Mandrake theme already is a GTK2 theme :-)

The last line of the edit menu let's me change the buttons in the toolbar
but not the theme itself :(

I'll try to delete bookmarklets menu with right button / menu (though
I think I tried this) this evening.

I had never problems with the download manager on galeon... maybe I used
not the one you used (I did not change from the original 9.0 config with
the old galeon regarding the download manager)

Hi,

I have several problems with the current galeon version compared to the version
included with Mandrake 9.0 (german version):
- themes do not work at all
- several menus are missing (f.e. the very useful preferences menu)
- there is much less space for the browser itself (with themes that could be
partially solved)
- there seems to be no way to remove the bookmarklets

If you don't want to have galeon to be a showstopper, I'd very much
recommand to switch back to the current stable (1.2.8) version on
http://galeon.sf.net and not use the development version for the coming
9.1 release (I did not find one single advantage of the current development
version compared to old stable one)

Regards,

Reinhard
