Hi,
There is a known issue with HPOJ, which David Paschal (the author), suggests a
fix for. The issue is this: if you turn on an HPOJ device (such as the PSC 2210)
after boot, the device won't be configured if the /etc/ptal/ file for that
device is set to use wildcards to search of the device. The solution, which
should be made during setup of the device, is to replace line 28 of the standard
setup produced by the HPOJ setup tool or printerdrake with:

init.mlcd.append+=-device /dev/usb/lp0

Where /dev/usb/lp0 is the location of the device on the system. If left the way
it is now, the device WILL NOT WORK without restarting hpoj after turning on the
device. This is very very inconvenient as you can imagine. :-) Since this is
such an easy fix, I hope you will make sure to add it to 9.1.
