------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-02-25 02:26 ------- Some more information.... The problem appears to be with /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 When I remove the file, it works the first time through. When I boot again, it freezes on the file that mandrake seems to create. Editing ifcfg-eth0 so that ONBOOT=yes gets changed to ONBOOT=no causes everything to work fine. The problem seems to be that the network initscript sees the ONBOOT=1 and tries to activate eth0 before pcmcia is set up. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: My orinico wireless PCMCIA card will not start up with 7.06-3mdk. It gets to initializing eth0 and then hangs. Moving the S11pcmcia link to S08pcmcia so that pcmcia is initialized before network allows the card to work, but I get an error message about ifplugd when it gets to the network initialization script. I believe that it worked as of 7.06-1mdk and am positive that it worked with 7.04-3mdk
