           Product: drakxtools
         Component: XFdrake
Summary: No option to configure the physical size of display
                    (DisplaySize)
           Version: 9.1-5mdk
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
        AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

As of 9.1RC1, there is still no option in Mandrake to set the physical dimension
of the display. This means that, for a laptop, with 15" screen and 1600x1200
resolution, the fonts are TINY!

The fix is below. It would be nice to have a GUI tool for this, but if it's too
late, may I advise that you mention it in the text which accompanies the tool.

Add this line to /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 after

Section "Monitor"
Identifier "Generic|Generic Laptop Display Panel 1600x1200"
    VendorName "Generic"
    ModelName "Unknown"

#Added by rjn to sort out tiny fonts - these are width, height in mm
    DisplaySize 304 228
