------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-02-26 01:14 ------- Doh. I should have done this before I submitted my last comment. I just checked and executing iptables from the command line, anything I try with a '-j MASQUERADE' fails as well. It works with 2.4.21pre4-6mdk kernel from B3, but not with 2.4.21pre4-9mdk from RC1 or 2.4.21pre4-10mdk from Cooker. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: When attempting to set up Internet Connection Sharing, it fails with: -------- Masqueraded Subnets and Hosts: iptables: Invalid argument Processing /etc/shorewall/stop ... Processing /etc/shorewall/stopped ... Terminated -------- Checking '/etc/shorewall/masq' and it has 'eth0 192.168.0.0/255.255.255.0' which was previously 'eth0 192.168.0.0/24'. Neither version of the syntax for mask works however, but removing the line allows shorewall to start (but of course, not actually function).
